This is simply wrong. Contracts are one thing, theft is another, and this is an atrocity. If he felt so taken advantage of, let him sue her in a court of law for reneging on her contract. The use of deadly force in the case of nighttime theft is designed for someone attacked at gunpoint who fires back and kills the assailant. Whatever you think of that, and I am not necessarily opposed, this case twists that rationale beyond all recognition. Please, AG Abbott, ensure that this case remains the abberation it is, and can never be used as a precedent.
